Guilhem Viau, winemaker in Pic Saint-Loup

In 2008, I decided to take charge of the winemaking on the estate myself. A desire motivated by a love of my land and the quality of the fruit I wish to honor, from the vines to the wines. Over and above a passion that has become a profession, and the pleasure of tasting the results of my efforts in a glass, there is also the desire to preserve a family estate and the flavours of the land of my origins.

I didn't wait for the emergence of organic viticulture to feel the need to exalt the flavors of my land, while respecting its rhythm and ensuring that I leave a preserved environment to future generations. As a result, I naturally orient my business towards sustainable agriculture, respecting fauna, flora, seasons and soils. It's only in this way, along healthy and respectful paths, that the notes of my wine will reflect my journey and express what I wish to share: the love of my profession, of the land, of the smooth, generous and delicate notes of Pic Saint Loup.
